Looking at the circuit, we clearly notice the following equality:

Let's write the equation for the node a.

And for the node b we can write that:

Finally, we write the equation for the node c.

Remembering that V_a = 10 i_x and making substitution in the penultimate equation, we arrive at the following system of equations:

Solving this system of three equations to three unknowns, we find the following values for the node voltages:

With the value of the voltage in the node a we can calculate the value of i_x.
