Calculate Vo on the circuit shown in Figure 78-02.1.
Solution of the Problem 78-2
As we stated at the end of item 2 (in the theory part), whenever possible we will use
the technique of the additive configuration. In this sense, Figure 78-02.2 shows the
currents I1 and I2 entering the coil points.
The mutual reactance value is ωM = 1. In addition, it shows the influences of
currents in their respective windings. Notice the positive polarity facing the
side of the winding without point.
Having established the circuit above, we can determine the equations that will solve the problem.
For the mesh of I1 we have:

Therefore, we achieved a system of two equations with two unknowns and it can be solved through
Octave, Matlab, scientific calculator, etc ..., and let's get:
Through the circuit we can see that Vo = I2.
